Two of his team members – Kojo Owusu Koranteng a.k.a. Nana Dope den Eric Venator a.k.a. Gangee – were also arrested for allegedly spreading rumours on social media that the singer was shot.
According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that the purported gunshot was fake.

Meanwhile, the ‘man of God’ Stephen Akwesi a.k.a. Jesus Ahuofe who prophesied that Shatta Wale would die on October 18 has also been arrested.
According to the Police, anyone criminally involved in the matter will not be spared.
