Al Ahly have confirmed that their winger Walid Soliman has left the hospital after the horrific head injury he sustained in their game against USGN.
Al Ahly have now sealed their place in the CAF Champions League group-stages, joining compatriots and rivals Zamalek SC, after beating Niger’s USGN 7-2 on aggregate.
The Red Devils received a massive blow after Walid Soliman was brought off on a stretcher after an altercation with the USGN keeper.
The team’s doctor Ahmed Abu Abla stated that Soliman suffered a concussion during the game but is now feeling better and will leave the hospital.
The winger will undergo a medical test on Monday to determine when he will rejoin the team’s full training, as announced on the club’s official website.
