Egypt representatives Pyramids and Al Masry discovered their round of 32 opponents in the 2021/22 CAF Confederation Cup.
Al Masry and Pyramids FC have started the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup from the second round against Uganda’s URA FC and Azam of Tanzania respectively.
Both sides had drawn the first-legs 0-0 away from home, but they successfully won their games at home with the same result, 1-0.
In the second round of 32, Pyramids and Al Masry will be facing clubs that have been knocked out from the CAF Champions League second round.

Pyramids will come face to face with DR Congo’s AS Maniema Union, the club who was knocked out from the CAF Champions League after losing 4-2 on aggregate to South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns.
Al Masry on the other hand will be facing Nigeria’s Rivers United, who were edged out 2-1 on aggregate in their confrontation with Sudanese club, Al Hilal.
The play-off round first-leg matches are scheduled to take place on the 28th of November, while the second-leg games will be played on the fifth of December.
