Fire, lava and ash spew from the Cumbre Vieja volcano as the eruption showed no sign of stopping after nearly six weeks. Volcanic activity in La Palma intensified overnight with over 30 quakes registered by Tuesday morning, local media reported.
Lava flowed down a new channel after a second cone on the volcano partially collapsed on Monday.
More than 7,000 people have had to evacuate their homes so far.
