Second Division side Tersana have officially announced the signing of Nigerian striker Haruna Garba from Maltese Premier League outfit Gzira United.
Tersana is one of the only seven teams to ever win the Egyptian Premier League, having clinched the title back in 1973.
For many years, they have been considered one of the biggest clubs in Egypt, they even got second place in the Egyptian Premier League on five different occasions.
However, they have recently been suffering as they are now playing in the Second Division league.
Last season, they placed sixth in the Group B of the Second Division League, once again failing to return to the Egyptian top flight.
As a result, they are now preparing to create a stronger team able to compete for first place in order to once again play in the Egyptian Premier League.
Consequently, Tersana signed Nigerian striker Haruna Garba, who’s been representing Gzira United in the Maltese Premier League.
Garba’s numbers with Gzira United are impressive, he’s made 38 appearances, in which he scored 22 goals and provided eight assists.
