CAF have officially announced that the 2024 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations will be taking place in Egypt.
The first four editions of The CAF Beach Soccer Championship between 2006 and 2009 took place in South Africa.
The next two editions were played in Morocco, and after that, the tournament’s name changed to Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations with each edition taking place in a different country.
Seychelles, Nigeria, Egypt, and Senegal, have hosted the last four editions, and Mozambique will be hosting this year’s tournament.
Since the tournament started, Egypt have won bronze medals four times, and they will have a chance to aim for gold as they play the 2024 Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations at home.
