Nigeria and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, has declared that he’s fully fit and available to participate in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
In November, Napoli announced that Osimhen fractured his face after colliding his head during his team’s game against Inter Milan.
The winger was therefore operated on his cheekbone and eye socket and was expected to be out for three months. as per the club’s official statement.

Almost one month after the incident, and two weeks before AFCON, Osimhen posted a picture of him back in training, followed by a post in which he reveals he’s fully fit to participate in the AFCON.
Osimhen is a key player for Nigeria, with 10 goals and six assists to his name in 19 caps. The 22-year-old scored in three of their six World Cup qualifiers group stage games and five in six AFCON qualifiers.
The Green Eagles were drawn in Group D of the AFCON alongside Sudan, Guinea-Bissau, and Egypt, against whom they will start their journey on 11 January.
