Nigeria have announced their 28-man squad set to compete in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which includes the likes of Victor Osimhen.
The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is set to take place between 9 January 2022 and 6 February 2022 across five cities in Cameroon.
The Super Eagles were drawn in Group D alongside Guinea-Bissau, Sudan and seven-time African champions Egypt, whom they’ll face in the opener on 11 January.
At first glance, one can notice the amount of star power within the squad, with Premier League players such Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Emmanuel Denis and William Ekong leading the squad.
Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, was in doubt for the game after fracturing his face in November but was still selected by Augustine Eguavoen.
