Rescue workers are getting closer to freeing a five-year-old boy who fell into a well in the northern hill town of Chefchaouen, Morocco on Tuesday.
It has been a delicate operation as crews dig out the side of a hillside, where there is a risk of a possible landslide.
The well is 32 metres deep and narrows near the bottom, which has prevented rescuers from descending into the well to save him.
A helicopter is on standby to rush the boy to hospital once he’s freed.
