Hundreds of thousands of refugees have fled conflict in Ukraine to neighbouring countries since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
Foreigners were among the hundreds of refugees from Ukraine who arrived in Slovakia on Monday.
Libyan refugee Rehab Elhash, wrapped in a blanket with her daughter, said Ukraine had become their second country and that she hopes the Ukrainian army will stand up against Russia.
The head of a UN agency said on Monday that more than 500,000 people have fled Ukraine since last week. EU officials have said the war could displace 7 million people.
