ABUJA: Nine people were killed and 11 others injured following a road accident involving multiple vehicles in central Nigeria, local authorities said on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila). Musa Mohammed, a commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in the north-central state of Niger, told reporters in the state’s capital city Minna that four vehicles, including two trucks, were involved in the accident along the Kutigi-Mokwa road of the state on Monday. The four vehicles involved in the road accident went up in flames, Mohammed said, noting the trucks were laden with petroleum products.
