The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has granted the Nasarawa State Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC), approval for the recruitment of additional teachers for Secondary Schools in the State.
A statement signed by Executive Secretary, TSC Nasarawa State, Benjamin Baka, stated that, with effect to the approval, the Nasarawa State Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC) advertises vacancies in the following teaching subjects and qualifications: B. Ed., B.A (ED), B.Sc. (Education) and NCE in Sciences and Languages.
Baka said Science subject teachers needed includes; Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Physical Health Education (PHE), Home Economics, Integrated Science, Agricultural Science, Geography, Computer Science, Biology, and Economics.
According to him, Non Educationists and HND in the Sciences and Languages with PGDE can also apply.
” For technical studies we require service of Basic Technology and Introductory Technology teachers.
“Also English, French, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo teachers will be engaged.
“Those who wish to apply should note that National Teachers Registration Council certificate is an added advantage.”
Applicants are expected to upload all the necessary documents on the portal, print it out and bring to the examination centre on a date to be announced later,as portal will be accessed free of charge for the period of two weeks beginning from November 15 to 28, 2021.
