Skepta has won the coveted Best Grime Act at this year’s MOBO Awards on Sunday night.
The ceremony, which took place at the Coventry Building Society Arena in the West Midlands, also saw Dave scoop the gong for Album of the Year.
The 23-year-old received the prize for his work on his second LP titled We’re All Alone In This Together. He didn’t however pick up the awards for other categories he was nominated in, including Song and Video of the Year.
The accolade for Song of the Year went to Tion Wayne & Russ Millions for their tune Body (remix feat ArrDee, Bugzy Malone, Buni, Darkoo, E1, Fivio Foreign & ZT).
Video of the Year was awarded to M1llionz for the production for Lagga.
Grime star Ghetts won his first ever MOBO Award at the ceremony after more than 15 years in the industry. The 37-year-old took home the award for Best Male Act, while Little Simz was named Best Female Act.

Other notable awards saw Nigerian star Wizkid win both Best International Act and Best African Act, while Central Cee took him the prizes for Best Newcomer and the inaugural Best Drill Act.
The show marked a return to a live show of the MOBOs for the first time since 2017, with 2018 and 2019 not having a ceremony and last year’s event needing to be held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It saw Leigh-Anne Pinnock debut as host alongside Munya Chawawa with several other stars taking to the stage to perform, including Ghetts, Bree Runway, Tems, NSG and Enny.
Before the show, Kanya King CBE, Founder and CEO of MOBO Group, said: “The past 20 months have been extremely challenging for artists everywhere but as always we are seeing creatives rise up and adapt, even in a global pandemic.
“This year’s crop of MOBO nominees have not only shown resilience but incredible talent and range.
“We could not be prouder to celebrate their achievements across the 18 categories that span genres, as well as excellence in TV, film and media.”
Little Mix star Leigh-Anne stunned as she arrived at the event.

The singing sensation, 30, stunned in a canary yellow gown crafted out of tulle.
Ensuring her enviable figure was on display, the garment allowed her skin to be shown due to the short hemline and daring cut out detail across the stomach.
The beauty – who recently gave birth to twins – completed her look with diamond-encrusted heels and had her curls styled in a classy up-do.
Former Love Island star-turned-pop star Wes Nelson also impressed on the red carpet in a casual look as he wore a black denim jacket, T-shirt and trousers. He added a touch of bling by rocking a heavy chain.
