Morning, Arsenal fans
Thomas Partey returned to training ahead of the Gunners’ long shot at finishing fourth.
The midfield anchorman and striker Alexandre Lacazette looked hungry in practice.
But Arsenal will need fulsome luck as well as full commitment to nick back the final Champions League place from Tottenham.
The Gunners need victory over Everton at the Emirates plus Spurs to lose at bottom team Norwich.
Boss Mikel Arteta said: “We know we are back in Europe… Hopefully it will be the Champions League because I believe we will do what we need to do against Everton and then we will be cheering for Norwich.
“Maybe they have been saving all their goals for this final game and something special can happen.”
On the transfer front, Napoli have reportedly rejected a £75million “mega offer” from Arsenal for Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen.
And Spanish full-back Hector Bellerin is tipped for a permanent departure this summer.
The 27-year-old is thought to be keen on joining Real Betis, following his loan success with the La Liga club.
Finally, the Gunners are reportedly under pressure to insert a release clause in Bukayo Saka’s contract extension as the winger is keen to play in the Champions League
Arsenal are already set to quadruple the 20-year-old’s wages to around £125,000 a week.
